The Steele Ranch series is about five women, discovering they are half-sisters each and the heirs to millionaire Aiden Steele's ranch and fortune.

The second sister to arrive in Montana is Penelope Vandervelk, whose entire life has been dictated by her cold, critical, politician mother. When she finds out her biological father is a ranch owner in Montana, she jumps at the chance to start a new life, even if she is hesitant to leave the old one behind. Instead, she ends up falling for sexy Boone and Jamison.

Despite the unrealistic instalove, I really liked this book. Penelope is smart but a lifetime of criticism has made her insecure, and her relationship with the guys gives her the motivation she needs to stand up for herself and take control of her own life.
