A Spindle Splintered by Alix E. Harrow
3.0
A Spindle Splintered is a modern and unique spin on the tale of Sleeping Beauty in the form of a novella.
This story is short and to the point, diving right into the plot from the first page. I much prefer full-length novels generally because I find there's just not enough time in short tales for me to get attached. This was no different. The story was enjoyable enough, though a bit cliche at times. It was a bit underwhelming but is a good quick read if you're a fan of re-tellings.
