The Peasant King by Tessa Afshar
4.0
I loved this book so much!
Tessa Afshar continues to entrance me into her beautiful, Biblical world.
My interpretation of the book:
Their survival and victory depends on a mysterious, disowned prince.
Afsher has one goal in his life: To kill his so-called father who just happens to be the king of Media. When he draws near Jemmah and her family, he starts to realise that perhaps his life can be more useful than searching for the death of the king.
As the two courageous young people progress their way to the victory and relationship, they come to face the fact that the Lord leads them in every single step. That the Lord provide people for certain reasons.
I was so happy to return to the Babylonian-Persian era with Daniel, Keren and Jared!
I loved every single page of it.
I hope there are more book based on this series!
