Devil in Winter by Lisa Kleypas

4.0

I had to dock one star because I initially had a difficult time getting over what Sebastian did in It Happened One Autumn, and I dislike how it was breezed over in this book. I might dock another half-star for the way Sebastian and other characters infantilize Evie. It got a little annoying at times when characters literally referred to her as childlike. She's a 23 year old woman no matter how shy she might be! /end rant
However, I still thoroughly enjoyed this book. It's total candy, maybe a little bad for you but delicious in the moment. Other reviewers go into the details of how great the redeemed rake plot is, so I'll just say how addicting Kleypas' storytelling is. I'm going to order then next one and a few more of Kleypas' books.
