Grisham explores the world of mass tort law, where all kinds of nefarious stuff happens while pursuing justice for what are undeniably worthy causes. I learned a lot about mass tort, and Clay Carter, the public defender plucked out of obscurity and drawn into that world learns a big lesson.

Read by Dennis Boutsikaris, who did an excellent job.
