Leave it to Fredrik Backman to make me sob uncontrollably.
I don't even know what to say except I'm actually terrified of the 3rd book in the series. There are so many hints pointing to a really sad ending for Benji. I'm not sure I am emotionally and mentally ready to read that. But I'm still hoping Mr. Backman will be kind to my lovely Benji. He's my favourite character in this series, ok? He deserves to be ok, if not happy.
These characters are going to be stuck in my head for a long time. They are so beautiful and flawed that you can't stop loving them. I have to say though, I liked the 1st book more than the 2nd. This one started quite slow and then the last 100 pages were one heartbreaking thing after another. My heart is reeling.
