📝 I really liked that this story focused on an "older" (mid 40s) couple. He's divorced with grown kids, she's a widow. I also liked that they're both working class. Overall I feel like there wasn't all that much happening in this book plot wise, and it was more about the characters' personal growth and struggles. So not very action-y, which was fine.
🎧 I liked both narrators!
🌶️ There were a couple explicit but not super graphic scenes.
✊🏳️🌈 The FMC is half white half Vietnamese. That's kind of the only diversity we get.
