Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë
4.0
Wuthering Heights is the only novel published by Emily Brontë, and is filled with unreliable and sprawling narratives, complex and layered characters galore, and confusing and intertwining chronology. So many aspects of this novel are ambiguous, so every reader will take something different from it; even the genre and central topics are the novel are debatable.
Overall, I enjoyed the novel greatly, and it held my attention at every point. However, I can't give it a full 5 star review, purely because I believe that I need to read the novel once more to fully gain the appreciation for the story that it deserves. Upon a reread, I can almost guarantee that I will love it infinitely more, simply due to a deeper understanding of the themes, events, and characters.
