This is book one in the Silent Journey series and it features Hannah and Michael.  Hanna has fibromyalgia, the invisible illness.  Some people and even some doctors do not believe fibromyalgia is a real thing.  She left big city life because of the stress, for small island life, to open a knitting shop. She doesn’t have the time or energy to date.  Michael is the new fire chief and a single father of an 11 year old daughter.  Between work and his daughter, he doesn’t have time to date.  Michael’s busy- body sister arranges for him and Hannah to go on a blind date and the romance takes off from there.  His job and her illness makes for a very bumpy road

This is my first book by this author and I enjoy the spicy but not over bearing spiciness of the romance.  I love the small town feel of their community.  The romance is quick but we’re reading a romance novel and that’s how it goes more often than not.  The characters are fantastic and well developed.  The storyline is uncommon but a fabulous weekend read!  I can’t wait for the next book in this series!
