While we had a case of love-at-first-sight on our hands (with a moment that happened in the first book), the rest of the book was soooo slow. It took me a little while to see the chemistry between our two main characters. Especially since I had high hopes for this couple's story after having read the first (two) books in the series.
Other than that, this story had solid writing and I always love the themes that Kennedy Ryan explores in her books. Though these themes could have been explored even more. And I missed the "world" in which this story was set. I would have loved more fashion and more basketball. Also, prioritise your kids, please!
