Brief Cases: More Stories from The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher
4.0
Like any collection of short stories, it has it's highs and its lows. Mostly highs in this case.
I was already familiar with the Bigfoot trilogy from a previous audio book. I did like that they were set in the correct order this time to prevent giving away endings.
The really enjoyed the two stories set after the events of the most recently released full novel of the series. It's nice to see some development for Butters. And the Rashomon take on a trip to the Zoo was great.
Wasn't too crazy about the old west story. Took me a while to remember the main character was actually someone introduced in the novel series previously. And it felt a little odd to include historic figures.
But over all, I enjoyed it.
