Did not finish book. Stopped at 15%.

This trilogy started off in the most amazing way and now it’s at a point where it’s just lost the spark. The plot is dragging its feet through sludge and you can TELLLLLL. I just wanted to find out what happened after that cliffhanger and yeah. Now that I’ve seen what’s on the other side, disappointed doesn’t even sum it up for me. It could have been carried on, in a much better manner but the way the author lost the readers interest, slowly but surely, tells me all I need to know for how the ending is going to feel at the end. I’m all about fair chances, but we have to be realistic, and this constant downward spiralling slope of the plot is quite alarming for me as a reader. 

Although this trilogy started off by getting me out of my reading slump, it’s put me right back into it by not being all I had hoped for it to be. Going to have to find the next book to pull me out of this mess. :/
