To Kill a Kingdom by Alexandra Christo
4.0
Lira and Elian both have a lot in common. They are both royalty, love the sea, and murder is their pastime. However, Lira is a siren and murders humans while Elian is human and is out to protect his world from sirens. Enemies by nature and choice, Lira and Elian both have a lot to learn about each other and the world around them.
I really enjoyed this book a lot. I read it in 2 days and couldn't put it down. My only complaint would be it's often referred to as a romance, but I wouldn't consider it a romance book, though there is romance in it. The book revolves mostly around sirens vs humans and Elian's mission to save the humans from sirens. The book is action-packed and filled with interesting side characters. I'd actually be really interested in a second book.
