Absolutely beautiful! This is such a sad but heartwarming story. The relationship between Meredith and her sister, Fiona, is so complex and intimate, and the author has done a phenomenal job fleshing them out completely. I can’t even imagine the kind of childhood they went through. I liked the fact that their mother’s difficult childhood was briefly brought to light. It doesn’t excuse her treatment of her daughters, of course, but it does give some context to her behavior.

I could go on, but I’ll just say that I couldn’t put this down!
