You know that feeling when you finish a book and just need a minute to savor the epic-ness and amazement of the book before you jump into another book (or finish reading another book that you are reading at the same)? I rarely get that feeling but this book ... OMG this book gave me that feeling.

I was completely mesmerized and blown about by this book. The characters, the writing, the world building, and the twisty turny plot were just amazing! I wish that the rest of the books in the series were out because I so want to pick up the next book immediately. I almost want to read the book again (and I am typically not a repeat reader of books) -- and I probably will.

Since I normally read romance or romantasy, you would think that I'm raving about a spicy romance book that melted as I read the pages. However, this book has subtext!! Subtext! There is romance (no spoilers) but it's not what you imagine a romantasy book will bring you. There are only a few hot and heavy kisses -- but the plot is worth so much more than spicy scenes.
