"This isn't a place where normal people are welcome."
It's been forever since I've binged loved a series like this one. Less than a month ago, I started the first book, and it quickly became an addiction. I cannot recommend this series enough to my Urban Fantasy book friends. There's amazing chemistry, sarcastic humor, strong world building, a heroine like no other, and a unique and lovable cast of side characters. Kate and Curran continue to amuse me with the banter and kickass antics.
"I'm not going anywhere. Besides hell is when you and I are at our best."
Derek is still my favorite minor character and I want so badly to see more of him. I adored Roman and Christopher in this one too. There's always seems to be the perfect balance of new characters and storylines to keep it fresh and intriguing.
"You're like crazy cat lady, but you collect killers instead of fluffy cats."
This series easily takes second place as my all time UF/PNR Series. I'm so thankful to have seen Grace Draven posting about it.
“I love you more than I’ve ever loved anyone,” he said. “But I don’t want a new sun or a goddess. I want you. A partner.”
