I'm a huge fan of the Dead-End Job mysteries and was so excited to see another book (novella?) in the series. When I learned that it was from Marjory's perspective I was even more pumped. But the story let me down. There wasn't really much mystery here and it was a lot of telling, not showing, what was happening. It was a very quick read, took me maybe 40 minutes to finish, but I didn't really like it much. This didn't take away from the series any but it didn't add anything either. I was pretty bummed that this didn't match my expectations but I'm glad it didn't take away from me wanting to finish this series either.
