This was the very first book that I bought for my new Kindle. It had been on my wish-list for a few weeks when I saw it on a book club reading list and after downloading the preview I was hooked. To be honest, I would give this book 6 stars if I could. The characters, the challenges they each face and the journeys they go on bring you right into the book. How each person is interwoven into the other's story is well done and not at all confusing. There was a moment towards the end where I was worried everything was going to end in a very disappointing, anti-climatic fashion but this turned out not to be the case. I finished the last pages, turned off the Kindle and thought "wow, that was a great book!"
