Horror Movie by Paul Tremblay

4.0

Horror Movie by Paul Tremblay--Reading horror when I was young really shaped my experience with literature and reading generally. Sure, other genres spark curiosity or engagement, but fear? It's a unique feeling for your brain to basically turn words on a page into pictures that can fundamentally shake you. This book recaptured that feeling for me. Alternating from screenplay to a traditional book, this fictional recounting of the creation of a never-released horror movie is bone-chilling. One scene after another, the story unfolds, and the dread incurred along the way leaps off the page. Thumbs up.
