Leather & Lark by Brynne Weaver
2.0
I really thought that I was going to love Leather & Lark after thoroughly enjoying Butcher and Blackbird. Sadly, I struggled to get through this story. I was hooked in from the start, but then the pace slowed down and it took a while for things to get going.
I wish I had more to say about this book, but I honestly forgot so many details. For a story about a serial killer and a contract killer, it just felt quite dry. The biggest issue for me was definitely the pacing.
I listened to the audiobook and I do have to give props to the narrators, because they did a wonderful dual narration performance.
