**I was provided with an ARC for an honest review.**
First I'd like to give brownie points for the creative innuendo title. well fucking done. *slow claps*
This is all about insatiable desire featuring the sexy motherfucker Chance Zak, with some all-consuming plot twists that keep the readers glued to the page for what happens next in this sinfully delicious novel
“Chance: Hey make sure my wife doesn't fuck around.
Me: Fucks around with wife.”
And that's the whole book haha kiddingggg *but it kinda is tho*
So let's meet our characters
Daphne an up and coming sexy tv actress and her husband
Chance Zak the hot famous actor
And then theres our MC Minnie ...
I'm not sure what she does actually.
Minnie is trying to understand her sexuality where she has feelings for her childhood friend Zak and for a woman *HIS WIFE* too.
About 2/3s of the book is mostly focused on Minnie and Daphne who *minus the cheating aspect* were pretty fucking great interacting with each other with the banter, the chemistry, the power dynamics
“If I make you come," she said, still stroking, thumb barely penetrating between my lips, the hint of pressure against my clit. "Will you destroy the photos?"
I had no idea who was in control now. I hardly cared. "I'll send them out if you don't.”
When Chance comes back early from shooting his film, that's when the menage dynamic really starts going. This made me love the characters more with them working towards a poly relationship together
and it was funny as hellllll
“And don't kiss my husband while I'm gone."
"He kissed me!" I squawked indignantly, heat rising on my cheeks.
"Fine." Half-annoyed, she turned toward Chance. "Don't kiss my girl until I come back. Promise?"
"Your girl?" Chance raised an eyebrow. "I saw her first.”
but the cheating just constantly rubbed me the wrong way
“The first time I caught Daphne cheating was on accident.”
like really....
“I wasn't even sure who I was jealous of. Both of them, I guessed. That was really confusing.
What did I even want? Like, perfect world, Minnie, how is this ever a happy ending?”
The book clearly states Daphne's actions as cheating... but we later find out that it was more of which is a totally fucking different that I wish we knew about sooner bc that whole time I was hating this character for disrespecting her relationship and at the heroine for participating in it.
I think what I really wanted was more POVs in this book.
It was interesting from Minnie with her struggling to figure out her sexuality and attraction to both genders and they already MARRIED *damn bb, thats a lot*
But what was Chance’s thoughts during all of this when he first married Daphne and contacted Minnie??
What the fuck is going through Daphne's head??
A weird complaint on my end was that We didn't found out our MC's name till the fucking 3rd chapter. Seriously the first two chapters i'm meeting all these characters and inner thoughts, but i didn't' know the bitches name.... then I found out her name was -Minnie- which is definitely not the teenage name I expected for sure haha
And I was sad when the book ended. I wasn't ready for it to end.
Which just goes to show how good hot and fun these characters were. I wanted more. I wanted more interactions of them all together. More sexy scenes all together *smirks* but also I wanted some sense of how they gonna live now--have some sorta communication moment all together saying hey we together now.
Overall, this was definitely a fun sexy bisexual poly-developing book. Great on the bisexual part, gotta work on the poly element. Daphne's relationship with Chance but we didn't know so then we viewed as cheating. This means that Minnie viewed it as cheating and still went forward with her actions that are hurtful to Chance, a close friend. So the whole time you were kinda like what the fuck are you doing girl!! while knowing that somehow it was gonna turn out okay and they were all gonna get together after a fun wild ride
