The Gallows Pole by Benjamin Myers

Did not finish book. Stopped at 19%.

Too blokey for me. Also, Myers likes to list things. A LOT. It makes for roughly effective imagery but pretty lazy writing. Also, all of the characters are silver-tongued poets and it just doesn't read as a)realistic or b) useful in determining which character is speaking. I'm probably good for reading any more Myers now. Not my cup of tea.
