There is not a genre that Gem cannot write. I first got hooked on her writing with the 5 Points' Mob and Satan Sinners MC series. Then she goes and writes hockey with the New York Stars and of course, I devoured them as well. Now, she tackles small town romance and completely blew me away. I have yet to read a book from her that is not a 5 star read. The way she weaves these stories, and universes is like no other.
Things Left Unsaid was absolutely mesmerizing from beginning to end. I don't read many books that I find unputdownable but this was definitely one of them. Zee and Colt had a complex relationship, with a past no one knew about, so when they were forced together in marriage, neither thought it would be more than a business arrangement. Oh how wrong they were!
The mystery, suspense and secrets surrounding these two families and their shared past had me anxiously awaiting the outcome. The way Colt and Zee found each other again through all the chaos and ups and downs was so remarkably written. The secondary characters added so much to the story without taking away from the MMC and FMC and the overall plot and made me look forward to what's to come even more.
