man, what a ride... i still need a moment to get a grip ;( i can just add to the hype this book is getting. definitely worth it!
the story is so beautifully written, all characters felt so real and raw. all with their own flaws and mischiefs.
while this book is scandalous, dramatic, involving lies and cheating, it also talks about grief, self discovering, pure and unconditional love and friendship. i loved every bit of this book although i didn't really care about Monique ;D
i admired Evelyn Hugo as a woman who fought for herself and her place in the world, but also as a woman who later on understood that family is the most important thing in life. i also completely understood her feeling as a trophy to other men just because she was famous, but hey, that's Hollywood for u, isn't it?
