I enjoyed this one once I got past the beginning.
I loved Dieter and his struggles, I liked that work was put into getting him healthy, and was shown, it wasn't a quick fix. His issues with his ex were overshadowed by his addiction issues in this one and as a result were resolved kind of quickly.
Trent. I didn't like Trent at the beginning. While he had his bitch on, I found him annoying and didn't like him. Once he calmed the farm and actually communicated with people, his character improved. I understood him at times, especially where his step father was concerned as I wouldn't be able to let it go either. I found it interesting that I was like Trent in the fact that I was more understanding and forgiving of Dieter's addictions than Clay's and I struggled o understand Trent's mum. I think it was because Dieter only hurt himself before he got help where Clay did a lot more.
I loved Lola, Trent grandmother. She was such a great character and felt like more the parental unit to Trent. I loved that she stayed true to herself and her love for the Flyers and even sitting n the Railers section thanks to Dieter did not change that. I giggled through that section of the book.
The secondary characters were again fantastic. It's great to see the other guys and their interactions and we also got to spend a little more time with a couple others.
On to Stans book - Yay
