I’m conflicted. Jared was well developed and interesting in contract to Aly who was ‘perfect’ and not much else. It was fast-paced and angsty which I love but perhaps a little too melodramatic (but I kind of love that too ngl.) Then there’s my two warring thoughts that 1. Jared needs therapy not a girlfriend but also that 2. even fucked up people deserve love so AAAHH I don’t know. Either way, I enjoyed it and got through it quickly and I really liked Jared as a character (although perhaps not a romantic hero) and I enjoyed the writing style so like it’s a solid 3.5 for me.
