Hollowpox: The Hunt for Morrigan Crow by Jessica Townsend

5.0

Excuse me Ms. Townsend, are you a psychic? There's no other explanation for how accurate this book is to what's going on across the globe. Of course there are differences but Hollowpox made me feel the way 2020 has. It didn't stop surprising me.

I enjoyed that Morrigan felt older as a character making slightly more decisive choices and I believe that this third book is the culmination of the confidence we've seen her build over the last books. The way Townsend wrote Morrigan's classes on Sub 9 made perfect sense to the rules she has made for this world. There were no other LIVING Wundersmiths to teach her so naturally there had to be a loophole and it is so well executed. We also see the consideration of others that has always been present in this child is developing as she grows into a teenager.

I have nothing negative to say about this book, I fight every day not to start the audiobook again in favor of fresh reads. I finished this book a few weeks ago and am still experiencing this issue. I will probably read everything Jessica Townsend writes from now until the end of days (is that book four Jessica you can tell me).
