The original Mistborn trilogy will go down as one of my favorite series I've ever read. The Hero of Ages cemented this as fact. From each character's growth to where/how they began and where/how they finished, I'm in awe of Sanderson's attention to detail and the empathetic love for these characters he must've had. Only someone who successfully immerses themself within their character's psyches can produce such evocative journeys.

I can't discuss most of the plot at length or I'll give away many spoilers, but just know that between the worldbuilding, characters, and themes showcased throughout the series, you'll probably fall in love just as deeply as I have. I may or may not have teared up a bit at the end...
