Hollie is a girl from the wrong side of the tracks in Oregon. She got an internship at a jewelry firm in London. Dexter owns a firm who is competing to create wedding pieces for a Finnish princess. When he meets Hollie, he’s instantly smitten. When she loses her job, Dexter creates an internship for her to keep her in London. Slowly, they become friends and lovers.
It’s an easy read with plenty of spice. I liked all of the characters. I liked how Dexter and Hollie grew throughout the story. I really liked how Hollie made Dexter question his past assumptions about his brother and ex-girlfriend. If you want a fast read that has Cinderella and Flashdance vibes, this is the story for you. Can’t wait to read the next book.
