The Stranger: The Graphic Novel by Jacques Ferrandez
4.0
First read it in Highschool, for my French class (since I live in France), and it was an amazing surprise!
I used to severly dislike the books we were given to read, as they usually didn't fit my really fantasy oriented taste at the time.
But The Stranger was a game changer and started my now very diversified reading adventures.
The beginning is so out of context, and the main character will not help you understand it any more. I still remember my stomach twisting at the events happening inside, and emphasizing so much with him, our stranger, living but never belonging.
