Blaise:
Raw emotion that emanates from Blaise is breath stealing. He made a mistake and he’s paying the price. The breakdown of this beautifully flawed person, is written in such a way you can’t help but feel it too.
The struggle he is going through is all too real, all too tragic and mostly, all too relatable. I love love love Blaise, he went from enemy number one (hurting our teddy bear Bailey) to someone I want hug and never let go.

Toby: He wants to be loved  but is terrified of opening himself up to the possibility of heart break. I loved watching this strong, confident stable man break for love, all of his walls and rules came tumbling down for a mage with a broken soul. The dedication Toby showed Blaise from the beginning was a beautiful sight.

Toby recognising heartbreak and depression claims Blaise for himself , if only for a little while. This is what Toby does, he fixes broken boys, but what he wasn’t anticipating is that blaise who mend his broken heart and open his world up to love.
Toby does everything in his power to protect Blaise even at his own detriment.

Addressing mental health issues is always a delicate subject, Lark approaches this with respect and grace.

God this story was beautiful, heart breaking, funny, tragic, hopefully and most of all shows you what love can do for someone soul.

Overall this book was 👏🏼IN.CRED.IBLE👏🏼
And yes Lark’s you will of course cry and I mean “ugly cry” but it was so worth it ♥️
