If I could give it more than 5 stars I happily would. The plot was about this world where everyone is born ugly except these belles who are the only beautiful ones and furthermore, they have the power to make others beautiful temporarily. These belles are contesting against each other to become the queen's favourite and control all the beauty laws of the world, deal with royalty, live a lavish life.
The book is written with such extravagant detailing that it blew my breath away. It had mystery, romance, drama, competition, royalty, you name it you have it! I loved how intricately they described the dresses and features. It is also about body positivity at the end of the day despite its heavy focus on beauty.
