I’ve had this book on my radar for absolutely ages, it’s been hyped up on bookstagram so much since before it was released that I felt like I was missing out so I needed to read it ASAP.

While it delves into the whole #metoo movement, it is a compelling and addicting book but I do feel that you need to set time aside to read this book in perhaps one or two sittings rather than dip in and out, like I did until the last 100 pages where I binge read it. I feel like I’ve taken so much more away from the book in those last pages that I feel like I’ve read a completely different book to the one I’ve seen all the rave reviews for.

Samantha Miller is one of the most head strong dysfunctional characters I’ve ever come across but all the more, there is a lot of potential with her character that the way the book ended, baffled me. We need more. I need to know what we can expect Samantha to do next?! Please say, she’ll be popping up again soon because that was a rather abruptly ending. #cliffhanger

I don’t quite know what to make of Lisa. She comes across as this very timid and sometimes far-fetched character that it was often hard to believe her. I know this is fiction but she just felt let down, I think I just wanted more from her character.

And on the lines of dysfunctional characters is Becky. Again, another headstrong character but I feel she needed more time than she got in this book.

TW: Rape, abuse.
