I must start by saying Rebecca Yarros, you are brilliant. The detail and world building that went into this book and these characters is on a new level. I admit it took me a lot longer to read this than it should have, mainly because I don't always trust the booktok hype, but I'm so happy I finally chose to. If I could pay to wipe my memory, just to I could read and experience this all again for the first time, I'd do it.

I honestly can't think of the last time a book made me ugly cry. I didn't even realize how connected I was to Liam's character until l I knew what his fate would be.

The last 20% of the book hit every emotion I can think of, but in the best ways. I can't wait until Iron Flame is released! Man, this was just... chef's kiss.
