Guarding Mr. Fine by HelenKay Dimon

4.0

**I received a copy of Guarding Mr. Fine from Random House-Loveswept and Net Galley in exchange for a voluntary and honest review**

Guarding Mr Fine is the third book in Helen Kay Dimon's series. I haven't read the previous books but I have to say that it was very easy to read this as a standalone.

Seth Lang is part of the CIAs Special Activities Division who has been tasked with guarding the new US Counsel General in Munich but what he doesn't know is that his boss is playing cupid with Seth and Rick Fine. When he decides to visit a local bar before starting work he feels an instant attraction to Rick at the bar. It leads to a tyrst in an empty room but imagine his surprise when he shows up at work and finds out his new boss is none other than Rick Fine.

Rick Fine is investigating the suspicious death of the previous counsel general and he's a bit upset that the CIA SAD boss feels he has to have a bodyguard. But after his tyrst with an unknown lover he's just as surprised at Seth to find out that they already are familiar with each other. But it will take both of them plus all of the other staff working together to find out who killed the previous counsel general and now Rick is at risk as well.

The book had all of suspense of a good mystery and still have a burgeoning love story between Rick and Seth. I'd give the book a good solid rating of 4.5 stars and its worth reading either part of the series or as a standalone.
