A very fitting pick for my first read in July, and to finish it on the 4th was just 🤌🏼
Until everyone is free, no one is free, and I have no reason to celebrate this holiday. But what I will absolutely do is celebrate the brilliance that is P. Djèlí Clark and his writing.
I wholeheartedly recommend picking this one up. It's only 181 pages, and yet you'll still fall in love with the characters, want to decimate the villains, have your heart torn out, laugh through the tears, and sing every song.
