So, I will start by saying I loved this book. I loved the humour alongside the more touching subjects. It generally is a love story of sorts, but it reflects more on coming of age and the consequences of actions and decisions.
There is definitely something for everyone here. You've got laugh out loud moments right down to grief/heartbreak and LGBTQ+ representation.
Rachel and James. What a fantastic duo. I would love to hear more from these two. Especially James, although we know what he's up to, I feel like he needs his time to reflect on certain aspects of his past life and what kind of implications they may have in his future, if any.
There are triggers that I have listed below. If any of these stand out, please, by all means, go into this book with caution.
Talk of termination of pregnancy
Miscarriage
Alcohol use
Cheating
Grief
Sex
