A v compulsive read but ironically did not leave me at all satisfied (why in gods name does it never reveal what Kit did ffs!!)
an interesting concept about female desire and satisfaction that critiques societal expectations of women + class divide etc, but felt poorly executed - dare I say, undercooked? Unseasoned? a bit bland and obvious with too many loose ends. Also way too descriptive in the way a lot of modern novels are atm - not every single movement needs to be mentiomed!! Idk, I enjoyed it but not brilliant and piglet didn’t even eat that much :/
