I definitely enjoyed this just as much as the first time I read it in 2021. It’s so much more than an enemies to lovers workplace romance. There’s so many more layers that I was able to catch on to now. Its funny, witty and fast monologue style from Lucy really caught my attention throughout. While at times it may be a bit unrealistic, it was relatable for me in so many ways. It captures what insecurity can feel like, how dizzying falling in love can be, and how to navigate finding a place for all the different parts of your heart together. The epilogue was new for me this time around and I think it perfectly captured Lucy and Josh’s love in a bubble and did their love story justice. I’m blubbering.
