Wow, so good. After reading Babel which was also a 5 star read for me, I had high expectations and they were all met with this one. I could not put this one down and wanted to keep reading! This book tackles racism and plagiarism in the world of book publishing. Nothing really surprised me about the insights on what authors of color have to deal with but it was still fun to read what felt like an insider point of view. I now have to read the Poppy War series because everything Kuang writes seems to be a home run for me.
