5.0
Like the first novel, the focus is on the characters and there is no main antagonist.
Two prior story characters are followed in the book.
I initially believed it to be a straight sequel, but it is not.
There are barely sporadic mentions of other characters.
This book was even better than the first.
Too bad I couldn't give a higher rating.
Since AIs and robots are my favorite sci-fi trope, it seems like this novel was written just for me.
