The Woman Beyond the Attic: The V.C. Andrews Story by Andrew Neiderman

emotional informative slow-paced

2.0

Terrible written and edited.
Holds great information on VC Andrews and Flowers in the Attic, however holds little to no information on her other writings.
Instead of listening to family members and written experiences personally given to him through the Vc Andrews Estate.
Neiderman tries to spin a tale of woe for her childhood even though its been proven false.
The 2nd part of the autobiography is easier to get through necause there is more information on the later periods of her life. Neiderman is unable to spin an unnecessary abusive family narrative.
He does end on a sad note of vc andrews thoughts before passing. It broke me to think about her final moments and feel he crossed a line by writing it.
The Obsessed is an unfinished manuscript that is definitely worth reading and analyzing.
Along with some poems and shorts stories, the only worth in buying this book is the information it holds that Neiderman misused.
