Beneath the Dark Ice by Greig Beck

1.0

Uh. The plot I mean, I gueesss can pass at entertaining but the writing? Dear lord. Props on trying, but the author can't string together scenes worth a damn. It's literally littered with piece meal paragraphs detailing a scene briefly before jumping into another paragraph set, say, 5 minutes in the future. Another brief detail. Another jump. It's disconcerting and frankly just bad writing. Look, take some time to connect your paragraphs. Something might be chasing Alex Hunter, but no one's chasing you, Mr. Beck. Take a deep breath and connect your scenes. We'll still be here.
