We Hunt the Flame by Hafsah Faizal
2.0
I can't say I actively liked this book at all, but I had a really hard time keeping my mind on it by reading. There would be points where I would think I maybe missed that something important had just happened, but didn't care enough to go back and reread. It just became sort of a blur--not an unpleasant blur, but nothing that really grabbed my attention. Maybe because of that it felt pretty standard as far as YA tropes go, despite the vaguely ancient Arabia setting. It quickly moves to a fantasy part of that world, though, so if you're looking for something that takes place in that kind of daily life, this isn't the book for it.
