A great book that was easy to read—I read it one day. Roman and Iris were absolutely adorable and I think a really well suited match who deeply love one another.

I almost DNFed because I found Roman insufferable the first 50-ish pages but he does grow on me. Still, it really bothered me that he knew from the jump that he was writing Iris.

Ends on a cliffhanger but that’s fine since it’s a duology, and I’m excited for the next book.

My biggest complaint is that I think this book should’ve been longer. I wanted more chapters from Roman’s POV, and I just wanted to know more about him in general. I don’t believe that he didn’t have a hard time adjusting to his new environment when a few chapters prior he washed a dish for the first time in his life. He felt very secondary compared to Iris.
