La mala hora by Gabriel García Márquez

4.0

Very smooth and interesting read, open end which i sometimes like and sometimes dislike but here it was okay. I wish they was a book focusing more on the anonymous letters (which are not really the main point of this book, it’s belongs more to its background).
A lot of events happen, but they seem to be treated in a very nonchalant way, and the novel focuses a lot on the daily routine of the villagers, somehow emphasizing how unaffected they are.
Anyway, i gobbled down this book like a fresh smoothie after an afternoon playing on the beach.
