Dead Is the New Black by Marlene Perez

3.0

Daisy is a norm in a psychic family but that doesn't stop her from investigating the mysterious sickness that is taking over the cheerleaders in her town.

I read this book back when it first came out and I was reading anything that hinted at the supernatural. I decided to reread it for a book bingo prompt as I wanted something that would be quick and easy. I ended up finishing in a day, so goal reached. It's a mediocre paranormal YA that is heavy on the cringe, but I enjoyed it well enough. It's just one of those books. The characters were annoying and the plot was not well-developed at all, but it's very easy to read and get through.
