I don't like football, but I really enjoyed the book. I actually started it during the game on Sunday (which I didn't watch)and apparently the game and the book have a couple of things in common. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. I love Italy and I love Italian food (this book made me crave it) but I found I really started to get into the football aspect of the story. Plus I liked the characters. Even if football isn't your favorite, it's worth a read.
