Paris: The Memoir by Paris Hilton
4.5
I had kind of taken a reading hiatus just due to work and tbh losing myself a little. I’m not sure why this book was what I ended up checking out but I am so glad i did. This book was such a fascinating look into Paris’s life as a child, but through some absolutely horrible situations at residential schools. It honestly made me wonder about the schools that we referred students to when I worked at a non public school and I’m hoping it isn’t something like this because this was horrible. I admire Paris’s tenacity and courage as she navigated the system and I feel sympathetic to her and her family knowing they did the best they thought they could. It was really interesting insight as well on the early days when she was an “it girl” and honestly, I have such respect for her. I loved her art references as well and to be honest it made me really want to get the sunshade of her, Britney and Lindsay. Such an amazing audio performance!
