Listened to the audio book for a book challenge where the prompt was "hotel".
I've never seen the movie and if it is anything like the book, I'd rather not. Even the likeable characters annoyed me. Why so much cat hate? And the blatant, casual talk of animal abuse?
The ending was probably the best written part, but entirely unbelievable. The whole book is just about siblings getting annoyed with each other and them lying to pretty much everyone they speak to.
